REGULAR MEETING, TOWN OF MOUNT HOPE, MARCH 2, 2015
The regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Mount Hope was held at Town Hall on March 2, 2015 at 7:30PM with the following present: Supervisor Chad Volpe, Councilman Matt Howell, Councilman Gary Ketcham, Councilwoman Janet Sutherland, Councilman Dominick Cambareri and Town Clerk Kathleen Myers.
OFFICIALS PRESENT: Highway Supt. D. Hassenmayer, Dep. Highway Supt. J. Musial, Police Chief P. Rickard & Atty. Bavoso.
Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Supervisor Volpe called the public hearing on the MS4 to order at 7:20pm. He asked for everyone to silence their cell phones.
PUBLIC HEARING ON MS4/General Information:
Legal notice was read by the Town Clerk. Supervisor Volpe thanked Dean & Julie for their work in this. He asked what they check. Julie stated that they go over the annual report that KC Engineering did for us. They make sure our whole program is in order with what the DEC requires. Dean added that she (director) did a tour of the facility to make sure we are not disobeying any laws. Making sure the truck wash isn’t going into the ground, she wanted to see where the salt was stored. Supervisor heard she said we have one of the nicest facilities. Dean added that most everyone says that. We do a good job keeping up with it. Julie stated there is material on the table if anyone wants to take any. Councilman Cambareri asked if the plan is on website. Julie stated the plan is and all the reports are.
RESOLUTION TO CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING:
MOTION offered by Councilman Cambareri 2nd by Councilman Ketcham to close the public hearing at 7:25pm. All in favor; carried.
Supervisor Volpe called the regular town board meeting to order at 7:30pm.
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE PRIOR MEETING MINUTES:
MOTION offered by Councilman Cambareri 2nd by Councilman Howell to accept the minutes from the 2-17-15 meeting as presented. All in favor; carried.
