Volunteer Opportunity
Are you looking to "give back" or "pay it forward"?
Well, the Hometown Helpers are looking for caring individuals
who are interested in helping seniors and other adults with
diabilities to remain safely and independently in their homes.
Hometown Helpers is a community based, not-for-profit
organization comprised solely of volunteers. If you can spare
even one hour a month, it could make an enourmous difference in someone's quality of life. We will be conducting a two hour training session for new and potential volunteers on Wednesday evening, May 22nd, from 7PM
to 9PM in the Otisville Village Hall, 66 Highland Avenue. If you
are interested in becoming a Hometown Helper, or would just
like to learn more about the program, please join us that evening.
ALL YOU NEED IS A WILLING SPIRIT
Those attending the training session should bring their driver's
liscense and proff of car insurance, which are used to conduct a
mandatory background and driving record check. It isn't necessary
to pre-register for the training , and walk-ins are always welcome.
Thank you for your interest in our Town.
Please visit our site again soon.
