Hometown Helpers Training Session
January 30th 2015
Village of Otisville Town of Mount Hope
Are you looking for a way to "give back" or "pay it forward?"
Well, the Hometown Helpers are seeking caring individuals who are interested in helping seniors and other adults with disabilities to remain safely and independently in their homes.
Hometown Helpers is a community based, not-for-profit organization comprised soley of volunteers. If you can spare even one hour a month, it could make an enormous difference in someones quality of life. We will be conducting a two hour training session for new and potential volunteers on Friday afternoon, January 30th, 2015 from 1 to 3p.m. at the Otisville Village Hall, 66 Highland Avenue. If you are interested in becoming a Hometown Helper, or would just like to learn more about the program, please join us on Friday afternoon.
ALL YOU NEED IS A WILLING SPIRIT
Those attending the training session should bring their driver's license and proof of car insurance. It isn't necessary to pre-register for the training as walk-ins are more than welcome.
Thank you for your interest in our Town.
